ERGONOMIC SOLUTIONS

Modula’s vertical storage carousels are designed and built with operator safety in mind. All equipment is TÜV-GS safety certified, equipped with physical safety barriers, and fitted with light curtains to make each workstation 100% safe.

The Vertical Lift Module brings goods to the operators. They no longer need to climb or stretch to access products or goods. The machine supports lifting operations, so they no longer need to bend over.

When built at the correct height and operated in optimal lighting conditions, the equipment guarantees operators can work safely. Modula’s machines are also ergonomically correct, so in picking and placing activities, operator fatigue and potential for injury are reduced. Another improved ergonomic feature is a touchscreen console, which slides along the length of the tray, easily allowing the operator to monitor all aspects of picking and put-away operations.
